| The Holidays are over and things are slowly returnig to order. Severus and I went for a nice stroll in Vienna over break. I hadn't been there in a long time. It is one of my favorite spots, but I don't get a chance to get there vey often. My duties have kept me from going places that aren't part of an "official" plan or idea. Many thanks to Severus for keeping me sane these past few weeks. | | |
| Today has been pretty quiet. Severus and I met for lunch at the Leaky Cauldron to talk about things and just get away for a bit. I have missed him. We haven't had much time to ourselves latey but with Christmas break coming up, I hope tht we will have more time to just be together. Since letting my class drop, I have ad more time to work on things for the Order, and that has made life a whole lot easier. I do miss teaching, but with Vodemort getting stronger, and trying to find different ways to breach teh security here at the Castle, I have not had the time I would need to prepare a good class. I just hope that the students understand. | | |
| *Narrative* Tonks and Severus sat by the bed of Narcissa, with Lucius. When she awoke, Severus took Tonk's hand in his and led her from the room. Once alone he whispered softly, "My dear, would you fancy a walk in the fresh air?" Peering out the window at the gathering dusk, and remembering how cold it was when they had arrived Tonks raises her eyebrow and looks at him sideways, "Out here? Now? It's freezing." Looking a little put out Snape sweeps his arm in a grand gesture and says, "The world is our playground my dear. Wherever it is you desire to walk we shall go. If you desire Spain, Bermuda, or even the Sahara, your wish is my command." Giggling, Tonks reaches up and kisses him on the cheek. "Actually a walk in this nippy ir will be good cause for snuggling in front of a fireplace with a good book and maybe a glass of wine. " "Shall we walk back to the castle then my dear?" Severus asked with a twinkle in his eye, that was known to only her. Seeing her nod of consent, he opened the ornate doors and escorted her outside into the chill. Wrapping his arm around her to either protect her from the cold, or just because he wanted to, they left not knowing that someone was watching their every move. "So in love" a sneering voice whispered, "they will never know what is coming..." Back at the castle Severus pointed his wand at the fireplace to get a good fire going, and pulling a thick black rug in front of the hearth patted a spot next to him. Tonks sank down and put her head on his shoulder. Had she looked into his face she would have seen a look of deep satisfaction. *End Narrative* | | |
| ((ooc): I just started a new job, Photography, and the hours are long. I'm trying to keep up with things, so please bear with me.) With all of the unrest going on, we have to find a way to find some semblance of normalcy. I urge all students to find a teacher they can talk to, and trust. Let them know what you are feeling, what you see. It could keep us all safe. Watch out for your friends, any sign of anything out of the ordinary report right away. It is better to be wrong than find out later that something was happening to them. I will no longer be teaching Magical Fine Arts. There are too many other things that are going on for me to be able to do that at this time. If the students are still interested, I will post "artsy things" here for them to read. Let me know if that is better. there would be no homework, no real structure, but we could talk about poetry, or painting, or whatever crosses your minds. | | |
| I know that as a teacher I am supposed to have a tach charge attitude, and be invincable, but I'm not. All that is happening here is scaring me. In order to get to Madame Pomfrey, Voldemort had to be able to get into the castle. I'm wondering if that was his plan all along. To kill Dumbledore so he could gain access to the castle. Severus tells me not to worry, but I can't help it. I can't help but think that there is someone here helping hin and putting students in danger. | | |
